License help
Manage your key, activate Space Ranger, and move a license to another Mac.
Activate a key
- Open Space Ranger Settings → License.
- Paste the license key from Polar.
- Choose Activate. Space Ranger contacts Polar to verify it.
How many Macs?
One license works on up to 3 Macs.
Moving to a new Mac
Before moving, choose “Deactivate This Mac” in Settings → License, or deactivate the Mac in your Polar customer portal. Then activate the key on the new Mac.
Lost your key?
Sign in to the Polar customer portal with the email you used to buy. Polar sends a sign-in code, and the portal shows your key.
Using Space Ranger offline
After a successful license check, a licensed copy continues working offline for up to 30 days. Space Ranger checks with Polar again about every 24 hours when it can connect.
After a refund
A refunded key is revoked. The app changes back to free mode at its next successful license check.
After the trial
After 14 days, the app keeps working in free mode. Your first two Spaces in Mission Control order keep their names; the rest show “Space Ranger.” Activate a license to unlock the rest.
